A new adventure is needed for 2020. While I don’t think I’m done with Tour Divide, this isn’t the year. Instead it’s time for a proper solo, unsupported, expedition down the #canningstockroute. I’ve been scheming to go to Australia for over a decade and 2020 is the year.
With any luck I’ll pilot my singlespeed fat bike down it’s 1,850+ km of sand, dunes, and corrugations. Will it be the first singlespeed run? Maybe? I’ve heard rumblings of a prior ride but zero details or verification. If you have any, please let me know as I’d be stoked to hear about it. Either way I’m thrilled for a new challenge and another opportunity to add to my skill set.
